Church Fete November 5th 2011

The annual Parish Fete was held at St. Andrew's church on Saturday 5th November. What a beautiful day it was and what a wonderful result! Saturday 5 November dawned bright and sunny and lived up to the forecaster’s promise of sunny and top temp of 29 deg. The stalls were all ready with plenty of stock and keen prices. After the first flush of customers there seemed to be a significant lull and we were apprehensive of the financial result. The general feeling was that the crowd was down on previous years. BUT … when the figures were tallied up we
achieved the magnificent result of raising just on $12,000. This compared very favourably with the
2010 result of $14,000 which included stalls at two elections.

Congratulations to all concerned in assisting us to reach what seemed an optimistic budget
forecast.
